2021 TBR

 

This year I have started a reading bujo & have got into making a TBR every month. Sometimes this helps, others it doesn't. But I enjoy making them & makes me feel productive so at least that's something, right?

That being said here is my TBR for the month of June along with the list of books I hope to read by the end of the year, including the ones in my June TBR just in case I end up mood reading the full month.

Life Update & Reading Wrap Up

 

& I'm back!

After nearly a year of nothing, I feel ready to start blogging again. During this hiatus, I have moved house, done not so much reading, discovered I have a passion for gardening (now I have a proper garden) & contemplating at one point starting a YouTube channel.

Needless to say, the blog won out so there will be no videos as of yet but may still keep it as an option for the future.

Going ahead I probably won't be posting just about my reading & book reviews but include general updates & some gardening posts as my garden takes shape over the next year & beyond.

On my reading, I did manage to read 81 books by the end of last year so have set myself the goal to read just as many if not more this year. So far I am not going to meet this goal. I have read just 24 books this year meaning I'm approximately 9 books behind schedule. Hopefully, the 2nd half of the year is less slumpy for me!

Well, that's enough key bashing for one day, look out for my June / Rest of the Year TBR post coming tomorrow on the blog.

#WrapUp - July 2020

Well I definitely feel like July was not my month at all. Between taking a hiatus from blogging to being in a slump pretty much most of the month has been rather disheartening to say the least. So have been doing a lot of thinking and I feel like I'm putting too much pressure on myself to read at least 100 pages a day per book I'm reading along with trying to read x amount of books per month. So for August I'm pretty much just going to wing it & see what happens! Any way on with my stats for the month of July...

#WrapUp - June 2020

Wow this was definitely my reading month with my best ever total of 12 books read! Definitely going to reach my goal of 52 books for the year in July so will probably up it to 100 at some point. How did your reading go this month let me know down in the comments ↓
